When I was a personal trainer at a gym years ago I could predict the success of a client normally within the first visit.  Some of the things that I would look for were reasons for the client being there.  Maybe they were getting ready for a wedding, family vacation, or school reunion.  What ever the reason was it was important to hammer that reason into their brain so they wouldn’t quit when the going got tough.  This was really the biggest predictor of their eventual success. 

Success in Network Marketing works the same way.  Once the committment is made it is important to find a good trainer, or sponsor, to help you and a good system to plug into.  The Straightline Downline system has been working for network marketers for over 5 years and is still growing.  The system works by attracting new prospects through a large advertising campaign and then signing up those new prospects in our business and placing those new people downline from people that have already signed up.  It is easy to stay committed to your business when you are seeing results.

In the example above of the work out client even if they are totally committed they will give up within several months if they don’t see or feel any progress.   Of course my staff and I were good at helping clients to get quick results.  Our system pretty much ensured that our clients would continue with their work out routine.   We designed the Straightline Downline system with this in mind.  Help new sign ups to get some quick results and they will stay committed to the business.

So you’ve joined a business opportunity and are excited for the new year.  You have made your list of people to contact and have completed your goal sheet.   Now what?  You have probably been told that if your why is big enough the how doesn’t matter.  The problem is that the how does matter.  Most people in this industry find out in a short period of time that building a large downline is easier said than done.  That’s why we created the Straightline Downline to assist new marketers to build their downline.

The Straightline Downline helps new people get paid quickly by placing people in their organization.  We have found that people are more inclined to join organizations with a proven system that benefits everybody.  Our team advertises massively and attracts new distributors daily.  New people are signed up by someone who is already in the business and then placed in the downline.  This creates excitement and helps the members in the downline to get paid.  When your team is getting paid they tend to stay around.

The information I learned on this topic alone has helped me signup hundreds of sceptiks and some of the the tufest network marketers.

 In 1995 I saw Sandy Botkin speak and discuss this topic in detail. Sandy had just left the IRS a few weeks earlier, and held the position as one of the 12 IRS tax attorneys. I have continued to follow Sandy as he keeps us informed on the tax laws and how they affect home base businesses. Below is just a brief list of some of the tax deductions you will receive when owning a home based business:

In this series we are talking about the benefits of selecting a network marketing company to promote as your own business. Today I will cover the benefits of “ongoing training that costs you nothing” when you join the right network marketing company.

When an entrepreneur starts their own business I guarantee they do not know everything it takes to run their own business. They soon find out where they are lacking, and either need to hire someone to handle that portion of the business, or take some quick training classes to learn how to handle the issue.

This is the second part of a four part series.

Being your own boss is truly the American dream! To achieve this dream you must start your own company. Starting your own company can be expensive. Let’s look at what it takes:

• You must find a product or service to sell
• Have capital to stock the product or purchase the equipment to provide the service
• You will need to create a website and marketing material
• Get business insurance and workman’s compensation
• You will need to hire employees
